Overall this is an excellent product. The grip is nice, the display screen has a white backlight and you can t beat the price. I bought this thermometer actually for BBQ purpose, which I did while grilling chicken in my BBQ grill. According to the recipe, the chicken will be well cooked around 175-180 F. When the temperature reached 180 F, I checked and it was the perfect timing that I expected. I was amazed. The easiest way to test the accuracy of this thermometer is to check the water s boiling point. Water roughly boils around 212 F 100 C . This thermometer measures 214 F which is almost accurate. I would greatly recommend purchasing this over the higher end thermometers. Very solid product and definitely accurate.
